I am so star-struck right now. Just a little bit ago, I met Carl Kasell.

When I returned from New York a few months ago, I theorized that every single art museum in the country has Stary Night. Not true. I went to the Milwaukee Art Museum today and lo and behold (what does that mean anyways?) -- no Stary Night.

But fret not, I have a new theory -- every art museum in the country has a Calder mobile.

Just once I'd like to drink a cup of coffee without burning my tougue....

As I getting ready to leave this morning, it started raining in blibical proportions. So I had to wait around 20 minutes until it let up. Had I known it was going to do that I could have slept in another 30 minutes or so (then I might not have had to buy the coffee and burn my tongue -- it's all related see). So while I'm killing the extra time, I turn to Good Morning America and see that weatherman Tony Perkins is broadcasting from a diner around the corner from my school. Then I flipped to MTV2 and saw the new Weezer video. I've realized the new song is actually just "Space Cowboy" with different lyrics.

Just heard "Today" by the Smashing Pumpkins on the radio and am now in a funk a mile wide, wishing it was still 1993. I fear my studying is shot for the day, and that I cannot afford.

On the 6th Floor of the library at my school, there is a section called “Rare Books.” As far as I can tell, there is nothing particularly rare about these books except for how rarely any law student would ever have a use for them. I can’t count the number of times I’ve had to check out “Agriculture in India” or “The Complete Works of Sophocles.”

It’s finals time once again, so I will be laying low for the next few weeks. Sad times indeed for all 4 of you that read this.

I'm too old for midnight movies anymore I guess.

I secured some Wilco tickets this morning for the show on the 4th. How irresponsible of me is it to go see a concert during finals? I'm sure I'll survive.

Have you ever heard "When You Were Mine" by Prince? Why do the background singers sound like Wierd Al? Cyndi Lauper's cover is so much better.

Two weeks ago I ran a 5 mile race, didn't get to stretch out afterwards, and had no aches or pains in the days that followed. I ran a 6 mile race yesterday, stretched out extensively after the race and now I can barely walk. Go figure.

Only two weeks till classes end and 3 weeks until finals begin. I am so unprepared.
